The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was not one of the most powerful fighter aircraft II. World War, but over the battlefield of North Africa, the Mediterranean and the Pacific has done a great deal of useful work. He bravely fought with rivals who usually surpassed him with speed or skill, he was famous for being an excellent fighter bomber.

Free-fighter model of the fighter low-wing designed for propelling by a rubber beam; the model is a classical all-metal construction in a splinter with laser-carved wooden parts, mock-ups of vacuum-molded plastic and plastic parts made by injection molding. The hull is, of course, designed with a true minimal energy technology, with bulkheads and a large number of partially protruding bevels that allow faithful reproduction of the round shapes. They are built in two steps - with the "slit" in the vertical plane, you place one half of the hull directly on the worktop, and then "stick" it to the other half. This ensures that even the hull of complicated shapes is straight and symmetrical, without the need for any special products. Since it is a small model for a more advanced builder, you should already have previous experience with classic construction and flushing rubber-driven models.

Warhawk is also suitable for conversion to a RC model with an electric drive - although the construction plan does not offer this option, it would not be a big problem for a more experienced modeller.

The kit includes: balsa pre-cut parts, balsa beams, pre-cut parts of plastic plywood, vacuum molded parts (engine cover, cabs ...), plastic propeller with shaft and head, rubber bundle (rubber 5x1mm), plastic wheels, steel strings chassis and other small parts, plastic wheels, cover paper, MS Wet sheet, building plan.
